The Productivity of Red Chili (Capsicum annum L.) Improvement Using Inorganic Fertilizer and Biofertilizer: Implications for Sustainable Agriculture

Red chili (Capsicum annum L.) is one of the important horticultural crops, yet its productivity still relatively low. This study aims to determine red improvement through use inorganic fertilizer and biofertilizer. The factorial randomized group design (RAK) experimental with 2 factors 3 replicates (10 plants for each replicate) was used in this research. Factor I consisted four doses (K), namely: 200 kg/ha (k1), 300 (k2), 400 (k3), 500 (k4). II consists concentrations biological (H), 10 ml/L (h1), 20 (h2), 30 (h3), 40 (h4). results showed that there no interaction effect between (NPK) concentration biofertilizer (M-Bio) on fruit weight per plant (g/plant) yield hectare (t/Ha). However, single a significantly increased (555.75 g/plant or 14.81 t/Ha). Biofertilizers such as phosphate solubilizing microorganisms nitrogen-fixing bacteria can increase availability macro micro nutrients soil significantly. biofertilizers has benefit reducing farmers' dependence fertilizers. Therefore, combination not only be good alternative effectively sustainably, but also reduce negative impact using environment.
